1. Who is responsible for your data

VersatilSeg Corretora de Seguros is the controller of the personal data processed through this site and our service channels.

2. What data we collect

Data you give us

• Contact details: name, phone, WhatsApp and email.
• Data for quotes and contracts: CPF or CNPJ (Brazilian tax IDs), date of birth, address, occupation and information about what will be insured (such as a vehicle, property or company).
• Health data, only when essential for life, health or dental insurance. This is sensitive data and receives extra care.
• Information about current policies, claims and beneficiaries.

Data collected while you browse

• IP address, device and browser type, browser language, pages visited, time on site and where you came from.
• Cookie and advertising identifiers, only if you allow them in the cookie banner.

3. How we use your data

• To reply to you and answer questions.
• To prepare quotes and compare proposals from different insurers.
• To broker the purchase, renewal and changes to your policy.
• To support you if you file a claim and after the sale.
• To comply with legal and regulatory obligations of the insurance market, such as the rules of SUSEP (Brazil's insurance regulator) and anti-money-laundering rules.
• To understand how the site is used and improve content and navigation, including showing the site in your browser's language.
• To measure the results of our ads and show more relevant ads, if you allow it.

4. Legal bases

We process personal data on the grounds provided for in the LGPD:

• Pre-contractual steps and performance of a contract, to quote, buy and maintain your insurance.
• Compliance with legal or regulatory obligations of the insurance sector.
• Legitimate interest, to improve our service and keep the site secure, always respecting your expectations.
• Consent, for analytics and advertising cookies and for marketing communications. You can withdraw it at any time.
• For health data, the grounds in article 11 of the LGPD, such as performance of an insurance contract and your specific consent, where applicable.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We only share what is necessary with:

• Partner insurers and health plan operators, to quote, issue and maintain your insurance and to assess claims.
• Technology providers that help us operate, such as site hosting, email, WhatsApp and analytics and advertising tools (Google and Meta).
• Authorities and regulators, when required by law or court order.

6. Cookies and ad measurement

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. We only use the ones needed for the site to work and, with your permission, analytics and advertising tools. On your first visit, a banner asks which categories you accept, and no optional cookie is set before you choose.

While analytics is declined, Google may receive signals without cookies or identifiers (such as the fact that a page was opened), used only for aggregate statistics. The Meta Pixel is only loaded if you accept advertising cookies.

You can change your choice at any time in Cookie preferences, here or in the site footer. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

7. International transfers

Some providers, such as Google and Meta, may store data on servers outside Brazil. In those cases, the transfer follows what the LGPD allows, with providers that adopt adequate safeguards.

8. How long we keep it

We keep data for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes of this policy: while we have a relationship with you, for the periods required by law and insurance-sector rules, and for as long as needed to exercise rights in legal proceedings. After that, data is deleted or anonymized.

9. How we protect it

We adopt technical and administrative measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss or alteration, such as encrypted connections (HTTPS), access control and trusted providers. No system is completely immune to incidents; if something relevant happens, we will notify you and Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) when the law requires.

10. Your rights

Under the LGPD, you may at any time:

• Confirm whether we process your data and access it.
• Correct incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data.
• Request anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data or data processed in breach of the law.
• Request portability of your data to another provider.
• Know who we share your data with.
• Withdraw consent and request deletion of data processed on that basis.
• Object to processing you consider unlawful.

To exercise any of these rights, email contato@versatilseg.com.br. We may ask for information to confirm your identity before acting on the request. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may also contact the ANPD.

Some data may be kept even after a deletion request, when required by law or by insurance-sector rules.

11. Children and teenagers

This site is not directed at people under 18. Data about children and teenagers is only processed when provided by their legal guardian, for example as dependents or beneficiaries of a policy, and always in their best interest.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the law, our services or the tools on this site. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page. If the changes affect cookies, the banner will ask for your choice again.
